Thank you all the contestants who came out, as well as the parents who supported them!!!

Contestant enjoy a random challenge "which word is correct, top or bottom?" while waiting for results.

Optimist Dianne Josling (centre) was a very capable "caller" for the sometimes challenging words.

All contestants received a certificate of participation from Spelling Bee chairperson Rose Kraal, and were congratulated by  Monkton Optimist Helen Young and Mitchell Optimist president Cheryl Davidson.
